Robert Maurer is a San Antonio native and has been practicing criminal defense law in South & Central Texas for nearly 30 years. Robert graduated from Saint Mary’s University School of Law in 1994 after attending Incarnate Word University, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Robert has dedicated his life to defending those facing difficult legal charges. He firmly believes that no matter what crime a person is charged with, everyone deserves representation that will fight vigorously to protect his or her rights. He helps people from all walks of life build a solid defense against criminal charges. In his many years of practice he has tried and received not guilty verdicts in a variety of criminal cases, including Aggravated Assault, Murder, Sexual Assault, DWI, Drug Possession and Manufacturing, and Drug Distribution. His extensive trial experience, and his reputation as an aggressive trial lawyer, has enabled him to obtain dismissals on hundreds of cases. He has obtained dismissals on charges such as Capital Murder, Aggravated Sexual Assault, DWI, Assault Bodily Injury, and many other offenses.
